Jason has been involved in the health and safety, environment and animal welfare (HSE/AW) space for over 20 years, working for significant industry players including Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Forests NSW, Sinclair Knight Merz, Great Southern Limited, Hassad Australia, as well as performing project roles at many other Agribusinesses.

Jason is a founding member of GreenSquare, a small firm of effective, proven professionals, formed to address the need in agricultural for greater control of HSE/AW risk and compliance. Our aim is to partner with agribusinesses in providing an efficient means of managing these obligations, leveraging off tried and tested management solutions.
GreenSquare has a history of providing innovative and customised HSE/AW management solutions to a broad range of agricultural enterprises, as well as building strategic alliances and long-term partnerships.

Having built his knowledge base and honed his professional skills working for multinational mining companies, Jason has now worked exclusively in Agribusiness for over 13 years, adapting his skills to meet the challenges in agriculture. Jason has practical experience in both executive management roles and technical operational application. His record of leading Agribusinesses to excellence in HSE/AW performance is achieved by having a deep understanding of compliance obligations, understanding business drivers, mentoring management groups, building quality relationships and implementing simple, fit-for-purpose solutions. Jason influences all levels of the business to ultimately align their behaviours to the corporate strategy.

Jason’s broad experience and working knowledge in the agricultural sector is complemented by an honours degree in environmental science (natural resource management), a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and business management studies.

Jason’s business acumen, attention to detail, respectful common-sense approach and drive to achieve have been key to his accomplishments to-date.
